Intended Audience: UBSM School Ops and teachers who print assessments from Ponder Paper
Context: UBSM copiers use a printing workaround created by Ricoh on-site rep.
Instructions:
Download the assessment's PDF

Log into Ponder Paper.
Click on School, select your school and your exam
e.g. 0.PPQ1 for PPQ Week 1
Click on "Generate PDFs for printing":
Note, for this example, the Kings Collegiate - Sci Gr 8 PPQ Week 1 (0.PPQ1) was used:
2. Verify the selected assessment: Check the section count and roster count for the packet (see red box #2 below)
3. Once counts are confirmed, click the button on the bottom-right hand corner to generate the PDF (see red box #3 below):
4. Once your packet is generated (turns blue), click the Download button on the right hand side:
5. Click on the "Download button to open your downloaded packet in a new window:
Important note: do not close this Downloads page as you'll refer to it again later on.
How to print the PDF
1. Open the PDF, usually this will open in Adobe or your Google Chrome browser.
2. Once open, click Print
3. Double check that the correct copier is selected.
4. Click on Properties
5. Then you should see this Xerox screen. Click on the Advanced tab.
6. Next, click on the drop down menu of Offset Output, and select Offset Each Subset
7. Then click on the word Subsets, then click on the Setup button.
The pop-up will appear. Check the box for Subsets.
Then set it to how many pages you want the copier to staple together. To see this number, return to the Ponder Paper download page > look at the "staple every _ pages" field > note the number.
For example, for this exam it is 6. As in, each student packet of this PPQ is 6 pages long (3 pages double sided):
8. In this pop-up, edit the 1 to the number from the "staple every _ pages" field, then click OK.
9. Then go to Printing Options
10. Under 2-Sided Printing, select 2-Sided Print.
Under Finishing, click the menu drop down arrow, select 1 Staple.
Then click OK
11. Click Print.
